Surgical Support Kit

The BT Surgical Support Set is designed to assist surgeons during intraoral extractions, facilitating syndesmotomy and tooth luxation. The supports can be used with elevators (dental picks), spreaders, forceps, and in some cases, can also serve as a fulcrum.

A. Use with Luxators/Elevators
The supports help facilitate the penetration of luxators between the tooth and the alveolus bone, aiding in the rupture of periodontal ligaments and subsequent tooth luxation or dislocation. The grooves on the instrument provide stability and allow for its use in various positions.

B. Use with Spreaders
Utilizing supports with spreaders allows for better penetration of the spreader blades into the interdental space, facilitating the luxation or dislocation of the reserve crown in the mesiodistal or distomesial direction.

C. Use with Forceps
In this application, the supporter serves as a shim to enhance the grip of forceps on teeth with severe clinical and reserve crown fractures.

D. Use as Fulcrum
The supporter set can also function as a fulcrum. Its rounded design allows it to fit between the tooth and the forceps, assisting in the lever action during tooth extraction.
