Set of BT Syndesmotomes/Elevators

Syndesmotomes are specialized dental instruments designed to assist in intraoral dental extractions by severing the periodontal ligaments that connect the tooth to the alveolar bone.

The set of elevators includes eight pieces, each with varying shapes, lengths, and widths. These elevators are used following the application of periotomes.

The design and sharpening of the elevators allow for effective movement to detach the gum tissue and insert the instruments between the tooth and the alveolus. This process facilitates the rupture of the periodontal ligaments, dislocation, and tooth movement.

Constructed from malleable steel, the elevators enable the tips to be angled as needed during the procedure while returning to their original shape afterward.
